Palace On Wheels

Udaipur - Lake Palace Hotel on Lake Pichola - 'Jag Nivas' was built in 1746 by Maharana Jagat Singh II, as a summer residence for the rulers.  It is now a hotel.  The stunning white-marble and granite structure floats in the middle of the Pichola lake. The palace is one of the best examples of Mughal-Rajput architecture.
